Basic qualifications for 2009 Amigos Volunteers are: 

• Be at least 16 years old by September 1st of 2009 and be at least a sophomore in high school during 2008-2009 school year 
• Have the equivalent of two years Spanish in high school or one year in college by the end of the 2008-09 school year and be enrolled in a Spanish course during Spring 2009 
• Attend Ohio Amigos training meetings, including two weekend retreats 
• Participate in fund-raising activities 
• Receive the Required Immunizations
